Nestled in the Shadow of the Sainte-Victoire massif, this vineyard is the most nothern of the Coteau d'Aix en Provence. Formerly chosen by the Romans to plant their vines, this estate was managed by the Archbishop of Aix en Provence. Now managed by Sabrine Rabe and her husband Hans-Ulrich, Château PIGOUDET is one of the most renowned estates for the quality of its productions in Coteaux d'Aix appellations and in particular for its rosés. This castle has given back its place to nature and the environment since the vineyard is conducted in sustainable agriculture, and this following the desire of this couple of enthusiasts who is to favor the use of organic manures and advocate parsimonious treatment of vineyards on a case-by-case basis.
