Château du GRAND CAUMONT is located in the terroir of Lézignan Corbières in the heart of the Corbières region. The Rigal family has been dedicated to crafting easy-to-drink wines from the Corbières, Vin de Pays d'Oc and Vin de Pays de l'Aude designations for 3 generations. With 105 hectares of vines, it is one of the appellation's biggest domaines. In 1906, Louis Rigal, founder of the famous Roquefort Rigal, bought the property and ran the estate for over thirty years. He then passed it on to his son, Louis Rigal who, with his wife, Françoise, modernized the domaine. In 2003, granddaughter, Laurence, joined the domaine and introduced new grape varieties such as Cinsault, Vermentino, Marselan.
