Located in the area of the AOC Cabardès, in 10 km north of Carcassonne is the Castle of the BASTIDE ROUGEPEYRE led by Count and Countness Dominique de Lorgeril. Since 1999, classified in AOC, Le Cabardès is one of the most famous wine terroirs of the department of Aude. It is on this beautiful appellation that the family estate has marked the history since the Middle Ages and through the centuries because 9 generations of the same family of winemakers have succeeded. And it was after the first world war that Paule de Pennautier united with Count Christian de Lorgeril, thus giving a new impetus to the vineyard.
