The Roger BELLAND estate, created in 1839, is situated at the heart of the village of Santenay, south of the Côte de Beaune. Roger Belland and his daughter Julie represent the 5th and 6th generation of the estate. The vineyard is spread over 24 hectares located on the most beautiful soils of the villages of Santenay, Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Maranges, Meursault, Volnay and Pommard. The estate notably has the monopoly of the Clos Pitois appellation in Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru. The Belland family uses sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural and winemaking methods: maintaining grass cover on the plots to limit erosion, controlled yields, manual harvesting, etc. and produces wines according to their own taste: fruity, round and complex.
