Domaine PETITOT Jean & Fils has been located in Corgoloin, in the Côte de Nuits, for 3 generations. Jean developed the wine growing activity in the 70s, planting a few new plots of vines.
Since 2002, his son, Hervé Petitot, has been responsible for all the production work, from the management of the vineyards to the winemaking and bottling, assisted by his wife Nathalie, a trained oenologist. They work 9 hectares in the communes of Corgoloin and Nuits-St-Georges in the Côte de Nuits, their main production being the "Côte de Nuits-Villages red". A few new appellations have been added to the range: Pommard, Aloxe-Corton 1er cru, Pernand and Savigny-Les-Beaune. In terms of viticulture, the vines are sustainably grown, with each plot carefully monitored and particular attention paid to the soils' mineral and organic balance.
