Domaine Rémi JEANNIARD is located in Morey-Saint-Denis, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. The 6.5 hectares of vines (mostly Pinot Noir) are spread over 3 communes: Morey-Saint-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny.
Rémi Jeanniard is the eldest in a family of 8 children. After gaining experience working on his father's domaine for around 20 years, and wishing to evolve further, he decided to set up independently in 2004. He therefore created his own domaine with the help of his wife. He then invested in the construction of a new, modern vathouse on the outskirts of Morey-Saint-Denis, which became operational in 2006. Harvesting is carried out by hand with the grapes carefully sorted in the vineyards. All the harvested grapes are totally destalked and used to produce wines that are true to the terroir, mainly that of Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny.
