Located in the municipality of Chambolle-Musigny, close to Vougeot, the estate was founded in 1962 by Alain Hudelot and grew in the 1970s thanks to the addition of the vineyards of Odile Noëllat, his wife. Charles, their grand-son, runs the 10 hectare estate today. This estate is better known abroad than in France despite the reputation of its wines, produced on exceptional soil: Romanée Saint-Vivant, Clos-Vougeot, Richebourg, Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots, Les Beaumonts, Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes, Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Murgers, etc. The wines have a silky texture and an exceptional sensuality which place them among the finest in all of Burgundy.
