Château SAINTE-EULALIE is a secular estate in the heart of the Minervois La Livinière appellation, 30 km northeast of Carcassonne. Its name refers to a young Christian martyr, Eulalia, tortured in Roman times for refusing to worship idols. Property of Isabelle and Laurent COUSTAL since 1996, the Domaine covers 35 hectares. The vines are planted on pebble-covered terraces facing directly south and located at an altitude of 225 metres. Driven by a love of the terroir and great respect for the environment, Isabelle and Laurent COUSTAL run their Domaine to stringent requirements. Year after year, the very smooth, elegant wines produced by the Domaine are among the Minervois La Livinière appellation's safest investments.
