The estate
Domaine Christophe PICHON is located in Chavanay, in the north of the Rhône Valley. Christophe Pichon took over his father's domaine and acquired his first vines in 1991. Today, the domaine covers 16 hectares spread over Condrieu, Côte Rôtie, Saint-Joseph and Cornas. White and red Vins de Pays wines complete the line up. Son, Corentin, joined the family domaine in 2012 after completing his studies in viticulture and oenology. In 2014, he took himself off to Australia for six months to vinify the Syrah and then returned to vinify his second vintage in the same year! Using the experience gained, he refined the vinification methods in perfect accordance with the domaine's way of thinking (vinification of white wines without the use of sulphites). The other son, Alexis, gradually worked his way through all the stages involved in vineyard and cellar work before becoming involved in the domaine's commercial activity.
Domaine Christophe Pichon has been producing wines of extreme finesse and elegance for over twenty years. In 2010, the domaine embarked on extensive improvement work, with the extension and renovation of its winery. For over 25 years Christophe Pichon has successfully endeavoured to bring you wines of finesse and elegance; the reflection of their prestigious terroirs including Roche Coulante for the white wine and Côte Blonde for the red.
